Prajna Technology

Wisdom. Integrity. Truth.

Prajna started as an architecture firm, “Prajna Woodwerks”. There were four young architects in the 1980’s in Lexington, KY in the USA that were ahead of their time. They recognized that designing and constructing buildings with sustainable materials was not only both wise, and good business. They also saw truth and fulfillment in that work. They wanted to both create their designs and build them themselves. The company has become a larger family over the years and has left a lasting mark on many architects and artists as well as their local community.

John Yadack was one of the original group of four. He died in a car accident in 1991. The company evolved into Prajna Design & Construction and continues to stand for architecture and building methods that strive for wisdom, function and beauty. John’s influence was remembered by the group in some projects.

Van Yadack, John’s son, remained close to the Prajna group and was a fixture in their old grist mill workshop during his engineering studies years later. Now he has taken the simple philosphoy of striving for wisdom and integrity in one’s work and, with his experience in founding and financing technology companies, has founded Prajna Technology. The name honors the group of artist-architects at Prajna that strive still to do work that is gives wisdom to the world. Prajna Technology believes that this approach of wisdom and integrity is key to success in the wild world of high-tech sectors. It is a compass for us as we strive for quality, growth, profitability and smart product design for our technology company customers.

This is our story. We strive for wisdom and integrity in all of our work. This is the spirit that sets us at Prajna Technology apart.
